5.LOCATION INFORMATION
The Lyfe Style Platform is a location-based service marketplace. Location information is essential to several Platform features. This section explains how the Platform handles location data.
5.1 What We Collect
With your permission, the Lyfe Style mobile application accesses precise and, when available, approximate location from your device (for example, GPS coordinates and network-based location signals). On the web, the Platform collects approximate location derived from your IP address. Customers may also enter or select a location manually using the in-app map.
5.2 Why We Use It
We use location information to:
- Match customers with nearby Vendors
- Display map-based search results, including a list view and a map view of Vendors
- Filter Vendor results by proximity and service availability
- Confirm service addresses when a customer books a service involving on-location work
- Support route planning and arrival features where offered
- Comply with regional service availability rules and applicable laws
5.3 When We Collect It
The mobile application collects precise location only while you are using features that require it, such as nearby Vendor search, map view, or location confirmation during booking. The Platform does not collect background location unless you have explicitly enabled a feature that requires background access and your device displays an active notification.
5.4 How We Share It
Location information is shared internally within the Platform to deliver matching and search features. When you book a service that requires the Vendor to know your location (such as on-site automotive service), the relevant location information is shared with that specific Vendor as necessary to deliver the service. We do not sell location data, share it with advertisers, or transmit it to data brokers.
5.5 Map and Related Third-Party Providers
To render maps, calculate routes, and convert coordinates to addresses, the Platform uses third-party map and location service providers. These providers process data needed to display maps and operate location features under their own privacy policies. Crystal Lynk does not control how these providers process data once it is sent to them for service delivery.
5.6 Your Choices
You can turn off location permission for the Lyfe Style mobile application at any time through your device settings. You may also clear or update any address saved to your profile through the in-app profile settings. Disabling location access may limit your ability to use search, matching, and map-based features.
6.HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
6.1 Between Customers and Vendors
When a customer submits a service request, the customer’s relevant information (such as name, service details, and location information needed for the project) is shared with the receiving Vendor. When a Vendor accepts a booking, the Vendor’s contact and business information is shared with the customer. The in-app chat allows direct communication and media sharing between the parties for the duration of the engagement.
6.2 With Brokers and Connected Vendors
If a customer books a service from a Vendor who operates with Broker capabilities, the Broker may assign the underlying work to a Connected Vendor. Information necessary to deliver the service is routed through the Broker to the Connected Vendor.
6.3 With Subaccount Users
A primary Vendor account may grant Subaccount users access to specific projects. Subaccount users see only the projects and Platform functionalities permitted by the primary Vendor account.
6.4 With Service Providers
We engage third-party service providers to operate the Platform, including cloud hosting, email delivery, OTP services, map providers, analytics, customer support, and security monitoring. These providers process information only as necessary to deliver services to Crystal Lynk and are contractually prohibited from using personal information for any other purpose.
6.5 For Legal Compliance and Safety
We may disclose personal information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person, prevent fraud, enforce the Terms of Service, or protect Crystal Lynk’s legal rights.
6.6 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of Crystal Lynk’s assets, personal information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you of any such transfer.
6.7 With Your Consent
We may share personal information for other purposes with your explicit prior consent.
7.VENDOR DOCUMENTS AND LICENSE INFORMATION
Crystal Lynk collects and stores Vendor registration documents (business licenses, trade certificates, and similar documents) for the limited purpose of confirming that a registering Vendor has provided documents that appear authentic on their face. Admin review is a document-based review and does not constitute background screening, credential verification with issuing authorities, or ongoing license status monitoring.
Vendor registration documents are stored securely, accessible only to authorized Crystal Lynk admin staff, and retained as part of the Vendor’s account record. Customers do not have direct access to Vendor registration documents.
8.COMMUNICATIONS AND THE “DO NOT SOLICIT” PREFERENCE
The Platform includes a “Do Not Solicit” toggle that controls whether Vendors may send promotional or marketing messages to a customer through the Platform. The setting does not block transactional messages, including booking confirmations, project updates, invoices, stage approval requests, or messages directly related to an active project.
Crystal Lynk sends transactional and administrative messages to all users (including OTP, password resets, account notices, dispute notifications, and legal communications). You cannot opt out of these communications while you maintain an active account.
Crystal Lynk may send promotional or marketing messages from Crystal Lynk only to users who have opted in. You may withdraw promotional consent at any time through your account settings.
9.DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete your account:
- Your profile data is anonymized, meaning identifying information is replaced with non-identifying values
- Service history, project timelines, invoices, audit logs, and dispute records are retained for compliance, financial, tax, and legal purposes
- Anonymized data may be retained for analytics, fraud prevention, and product improvement
- Backups may temporarily retain your data for the period required by our backup rotation policy
- Vendor registration documents are retained for the period required by applicable business records laws
Specific retention periods may be longer where required by applicable law.

10.2 Account Deletion
